The White Tiger began as a side project for John John Florence (JJF) but became a favourite after his brother Ivan Florence fell in love with its fast, skate-like feel. Originally left in JJF’s garage, the 5’6” White Tiger quickly proved its versatility when both brothers started throwing big carves and airs on it. Now, it’s JJF’s go-to for laid-back, high-performance sessions.
- Compact, Full-Nosed Outline – A wide squash tail, beak-nose thickness, and forward volume enhance paddle power and speed.
- Fast, Responsive Rocker & Bottom Contours – A flat rocker with single-to-double concave transitions into a vee/double concave through the tail, allowing easy rail-to-rail transitions and sharp turns.
- Flat Deck & Tapered Rails – Maintains volume for paddling ease while keeping the board lively and responsive.
Go 2 to 5 inches shorter than your regular shortboard, with ½ to 1 inch more width and extra volume. JJF and Ivan both ride a 5’6”, while their standard boards are 6’0”.
